About the Masterclass
MOST MISSION MASTERCLASSES TAKE THE FOLLOWING FORMAT:*
Participants will gain an understanding of how to strategically reach their community.
HOUR ONE – THE BENEFITS:
A comparison is given between modern mission programs and the four step process taught by Jesus. Encouragement is given to use alternative methods to share the Gospel in today’s polarizing culture. The benefits of engaging people with an understanding of our post-Christian world are also given.
HOUR TWO – THE TEMPLATE PT1:
The first two of four steps are presented. Biblical examples are used to help delegates learn how to both ‘Spread’ and ‘Spot’. A fresh look at the philosophy of engaging people with the Gospel is discussed as new strategies are given.
HOUR THREE – THE TEMPLATE PT2:
The second two of four steps are presented. This time delegates learn how to both ‘Stay’ and ‘Send’. With constant reference to Biblical examples the remainder of the session is given to the specific role of leaders in developing a missional culture.
